1. Information we collect

• Account information — such as your name and email, if you create an account or sign in with Apple/Google.
• Scan activity — the products, barcodes, and labels you scan, and your scan history, so we can show and save your results.
• Camera and photos — when you scan a label, we process the image to read its ingredients or materials. We do not keep the photo after it has been read.
• Purchase information — subscription status. Payments are handled by Apple; we do not receive your full payment-card details.
• Device and usage data — app version, device type, and how you use the Service, collected via analytics to improve the app.

2. How we use your information

To provide, personalise, and improve the Service; save your scans and preferences; process subscriptions; communicate with you; keep the Service secure; and grow our product database from scanned items.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that run the app on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, authentication), under confidentiality obligations.
• Apple, for subscription billing.
• Authorities, if required by law.

4. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymise it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email apppura1@gmail.com. You can also delete your account in-app.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, though no system is perfectly secure.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. (Note: scanning baby products is a feature for adult users; the users themselves are adults.)

8. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than yours, with appropriate safeguards where required.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; we’ll post the new effective date and, where appropriate, notify you.
